It’s a sad day in America when educated, kind, patriotic Americans with different opinions can no longer talk, be friends, be social. Both sides alienate friends, but more liberals tend to isolate and only listen to, engage with and be friendly to like-minded people. It’s as if they need constant reassurance they are moral, right and just. To disagree and question means your a racist, immoral and selfish. It’s comical.
Your article is correct. But I’d like to point out that the Republicans are also wrong on a lot. We need gun control, Roe is a disaster and Ted Cruz just eluded to overturning gay marriage to a state issue like abortion. All of this is as insane as the progressive left.
Fact is- most of America is moderate. We’re not racist, but we have racist among us in all shades. Some of the most racist people I know are not white. We believe in a woman’s right to choose, just not till birth, that’s murder. We believe in the right to bear arms, just not automatic rifles. We believe in immigration, just not illegal immigration and open borders. We believe in public healthcare - but are worried that government will screw it up like they do everything else. They will waste money, care will decline and people will die. America has the best healthcare system on the planet. It’s not perfect, but it’s better than anything else on earth. The private sector does it best.
